In 2014 Methodist Health was selected to receive the Texas Award for Performance Excellence (TAPE), representing the highest level of quality and organization can receive in the state of Texas. Methodist was the first and is still the only health care system in South Texas and the third organization in San Antonio to receive the TAPE award since its inception of the award in 1994.
